This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Ophelia Studio ("we", "us") collects when you use Ophelia.AI, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. This page is maintained by the Ophelia.AI team to answer common privacy questions about the Service.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, display name and password hash.
- Content data: the prompts you submit and the projects, pages, assets and Etsy pack metadata Ophelia.AI generates for you.
- Billing data: subscription status and Paddle customer ID. Card details are handled by Paddle — we never see or store them.
- Usage data: generation counts, feature usage and basic device/browser info for reliability and abuse prevention.
- Support data: messages you send us via the feedback or contact forms.
2. How we use it
- To operate the Service, generate your projects and enforce plan quotas.
- To process payments via Paddle and manage your subscription.
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing receipts).
- To improve the product, debug issues and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests and, with your consent, to send occasional product updates.
3. Subprocessors
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run Ophelia.AI:
- Supabase / Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication and file storage.
- Google (Gemini) & image-generation providers — AI model inference for prompts and images.
- Paddle — payments, tax handling and subscription management (merchant of record).
- Cloudflare — content delivery and edge compute.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (running the Service), to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting), and based on our legitimate interests in improving and securing the Service. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent.
5. Retention
Account and project data are kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your projects and personal data within 30 days, except where we need to keep limited records for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from your Profile page, or by writing to help@opheliastudio.site. EU/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and minimal analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising trackers.
8. Children
Ophelia.AI is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We'll notify you of material changes to this policy by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
